Counting Blessings: Biking Brigham

Today's Blessing:  The Same Day Off!  :)

It's not very often that Scott's rotating day off falls on my regular Wednesday day off.  In fact, what usually happens is when he has a Wednesday off it's my staff meeting Wednesday so I'm working.  It's crazy how it almost always works that way.

Well...today our Wednesdays finally coordinated!  Yes!  So we decided to "Bike Brigham City" and see if we could hit all of Brigham's historic sites in one afternoon.  Needless to say, Brigham City is a pretty small town but it has a lot of Pioneer history.  After 1 hour and 30 minutes we had biked the entire "Self-Guided Tour of Brigham City" and traveled a little more than 10 miles.  The whole thing brought back good memories for me - I remember doing the same bike ride with my kids...a cub scout activity?  A summer activity?  I'm not sure the reason, but we did it.

So...enjoy a little Brigham City history below.  And yes, Scott did whine with almost every picture! ;)  And yes again, it was a little chilly today (56 degrees) - hence the ear warmers and coats.  Crazy cold for the middle of June!

No...this wasn't a historic site...we had to wait a good 15 minutes or more for this train to pass.
It kept starting and stopping, going forward and backwards.  It was most annoying!!
