Day 287 (Not So Empty Again) - "And I Will Give You Grace and Assurance"

I gave my talk at Laurel Light Camp tonight; I hope the young women "felt" the message I wanted to share in that we will all have hard times in our lives, but the Savior is part of our team and he will give us "Grace and Assurance wherewith we may stand."  (D&C 106:8)

The first day of Laurel Light Camp was filled with skits, getting to know you/trust games, a lesson about Christlike Attributes, a talk on living life one day at a time, a songfest, my "theme" talk, Mormon Messages movies (with yummy popcorn!), lots of good food (gotta love those camp cooks!!) AND going to bed late!  

Whew!  I think I'm too old for these young women night owls!
