Day 302 (Not So Empty Again) - Hockey Camp-out?

Tonight we headed up to Cherry Hills and set-up camp for our annual Family Camp-out.  Of course there were those "just before we leave" things that had to be done like water the garden and flowers, stock up the animals on food, pack the cooler, and check the oil in the truck, so it was 6:00 p.m. by the time we finally pulled out of Brigham City.

Jason and Anna met us at Cherry Hills and helped us set up camp.  Scott and I purchased a new tent and cots this year (which we are planning to use several times this summer!) so setting up camp was a bit of a learning experience since we hadn't had time before hand to set up the tent.  We did figure it out thought, and it was certainly nice to have four extra hands to help us out.

Dinner came next and then we loaded back into our vehicles and left camp for a little sporting entertainment...watching Jason and Anna play hockey!  They had a game scheduled tonight at the Salt Lake Oval so Scott and I thought it a perfect time to go watch them play since no other family members were coming to camp-out tonight.  Besides, we never get to see Jason and Anna play hockey so it was a special treat!  And Jason scored two goals...which I didn't catch on film!  Ugh!  Kodiak Moment missed! :(

It was nice to have a little one on one time with Jason and Anna. :)
