Day 33 (Empty Nestering) - An Early Surprise Birthday Dinner! YUM!

70?  Nah!  Jeremy knows she just likes pink candles!!

In 10 days my oldest child turns 29!  The prime age of life (or so people say!)  Somehow we managed to pull off an early surprise birthday dinner with one night of planning and some early morning texting!  AND everyone could come!!  It turned out wonderful!  I faked sickness, Jessica faked having a hot date, Jeremy faked a last minute "I'll take you out to eat since your parents can't come for dinner", and all the married kids took a long drive (and with the price of gas these days, that means sacrifice!)

El Matador was the meeting place and they were so good to accommodate us!  They let us have a reservation on a busy weekend, had the table ready and waiting, provided extra plates for our cake, and let us hang there for over an hour.  And their food...marvelous!!  As always!  El Matador has always been a favorite for Tiffany.  Each year for her birthday when we offered her her choice of restaurants, El Matador was always it.  No wonder I have pictures of celebrating her past birthdays there.  Hopefully she didn't mind another repeat!

So Happy Early Birthday Tiffany!!  You started my days of motherhood and I'll love you forever!!
