Tiffany and Jeremy hosted a great family Fourth of July celebration tonight! Both sides of their family were invited which was nice because we got to get a little better acquainted with Jeremy's sister Jennifer, her husband Cody, and their three kids. (Hopefully all our Dean Family Clan didn't scare them off.) Plus Jeremy has his two cute and very outgoing daughters here for the next two weeks so we finally got to spend a little time with our step-granddaughters. :)

The party started with a friendly water fight which Jeremy turned into a water drench! And others were happy to go along! The kids loved the water except poor little Jonas who really could not understand at all what was going on! When Kelvin dumped water on Stephanie and Jonas was standing right there, oh dear! Jonas burst into tears! (Even though the water was surprisingly warm!!)

Of course there was lots of good food to eat...they served up delicious hamburgers, and hot dogs. The rest of us helped with chips, salads, fruit, and desserts. (Although I'm pretty sure Tiffany and Jeremy provided a lot of the fruit and goodies too!)
And it's just not the Fourth of July without fireworks...Jeremy's favorite part. In fact, the Fourth of July is Jeremy's favorite holiday. Hmm...do you sense a little pyromania in that guy?! Jeremy provided a great display and ya, we didn't exactly follow all the safety guidelines with our "Fireball Duels" and hand launched cracklers (I think that's what they called them.) We started our fireworks a little early for the safety of the kids, but crazy thing, once we were all done, the whole neighborhood came alive with their aerials. No need to go to a park to see fireworks, you could just stand in Tiff and Jeremy's yard and get a surround show! Even on our way home, Scott and I got to enjoy the fireworks in Farr West (it could have been Plain City), North Ogden, Willard, and we caught in the grand finale here in Brigham City! I guess you could say it was a "Drive-ing Show". Ha, ha.

That was fun. Can I get that picture of Jonas crying on my shoulder? It's really cute.
