Counting Blessings: Little Lily in White

Today's Blessing:  Priesthood Ordinances

Jason and Anna blessed cute little Lily today.  It was kind-of a spur-of-the-moment decision, but since all of Anna's family was in town for her father's funeral it was a perfect time.  It's strange to think, just a few days ago we celebrated Anna's father's life as he passed away, and today we celebrated the start of a new life.  It's an eternal circle of life all possible through restored priesthood ordinances!
An Awesome Group of Priesthood Bearers!!  All a part of Lily's Blessing.
Is this what they refer to as a rose (Lily) among the thorns?
What a little beauty Lily was!  She looked like an angel in her long white dress.  Although, towards the end of picture taking she was letting everyone know she was tired of the whole ordeal.  I'm not so sure she was too happy being surrounded by a bunch of strange looking men in the blessing either because she let her voice be heard through the entire blessing!  Oh well, she's still a sweetie!
Lily is so sensitive to the sunlight!
It's lucky to get a picture outside with her eyes open!
Scott and I drove to Riverton in one car and picked up my parents on the way.  Stephanie drove in another car (yes, Stephanie had to drive all the way from Brigham City since she's "vacationing" here) and she picked up Tiffany on the way.  My dad kept saying how excited he was to be going.  I'm not sure if my mom really knew where she was going (early dementia), but she's just good to go along with my dad.

After the blessing, Jason and Anna invited everyone over for a yummy lunch of lasagna, salads, and desserts.  They even made up a special dairy-free portion for Stephanie since she can't eat dairy while nursing Alexis - that was so thoughtful of them!

My family is growing.  I love it!!
