Today's Blessing:  New Goals

We had an awesome Stake Conference today!  President Shepherd is truly the Lord's servant in leading our stake in the direction we should be going!

Scott and I have already started our plan of attack to work toward these goals!  I'm so thankful we are already in the habit of the first three...those three items have been set standards in our home as we've raised our family all these years.  We were just following our prophet and trusting in his counsel! 

Perhaps families are forgetting these days what's most important.  Goes to show we all need reminding every now and then!

BRIGHAM CITY SOUTH STAKE 2014-2015 GOALS Stake Vision: "Become a Temple People" 1. Family Spirituality - Strengthen Families through: • Daily Family Prayer • Daily Family Scripture Study • Weekly Family Home Evening 2. Family Mission Plan - Hasten the Work of Salvation of the Living: • Develop and Carry Out an Inspired Family Mission Plan (see Gen Conf. Oct 2013, Elders. Gifford Nielsen) • Read "Preach My Gospel" (see Gen Conf. Apr 2014, Elder Ballard) • Become the friendliest Stake in Zion by "Be a Friend Today!" 3. Family History - Hasten the Work of Salvation of the Dead: • Set a Goal for Personal Temple Worship • Double Indexers to 30% (12 & older) and index 1.5 Million Individuals • Create a Brigham City South Stake in Heaven - Do the temple work for  3659 Individuals Note: Every Individual is a member of a Faimly: God's Family, Ward Family,  the Family we were born into, the Family we currently are, or hope to raise
