Day 257 (Empty Again) - Planting Seeds

Scott and I finally got a few more seeds planted in our garden tonight!!

Now we have peas, potatoes, lettuce (hopefully we're not too late!), corn, beets, and zinnias (we're not going to eat those!!)  Scott is being very creative with our garden this year...he's planted the peas out front between the flowers; he had me plant my lettuce there too!  We'll also have tomato cages decorating the space in front of our front windows.  He's going to plant our corn two rows at a time so it doesn't all ripen up at the same time, and then plant pole beans right next to the corn so the beans will climb the corn stalk.  He's planning to put our smaller tomato cages to use for our cucumbers to see if he can get them to climb the cage instead of spreading all over the garden...small garden spaces require desperate measures!

So our garden should be interesting this year; I'll be sure to take some pictures...IF everything works out! ;)
Hoe, Hoe, Hoe

It's amazing these little seeds can grow into a tall corn stalk!!

Even seeds deserve a little TLC :)
