Counting Blessings: I'm Sold!!

Today's Blessing:  Chemical Free Cleaning

I'm not one to go around sporting pictures of my bathroom toilets and dirty cleaning rags, but today I was definitely sold on the Norwex cloths!

I must admit, I was a bit skeptical when I went to Stephanie's Norwex demonstration (party).  These cloths appeared too good to be true!  They claim to clean without any cleaning products...all you need is warm water.  And they are anti-bacterial, so in other words, you're not spreading germs around as you clean.  Ya, just too good.  Well, I think they're telling the truth!

I finally had the opportunity today to give them a thorough try...I cleaned both bathrooms and my kitchen floor and by the time I was finished I was sold!  I can always tell when my bathroom is overdue to be cleaned because it starts to smell like urine and there's a lovely "ring" in the toilet!  Yuck!  Usually I get to it before that happens, but I've been so busy lately that my housekeeping has been neglected.  Then when I'm all done cleaning, the bathroom smells all perfumey - a clean smell I was assuming.  I usually go through at least five rags in each bathroom...one for each surface I'm cleaning and some to dry with when I'm done cleaning.  Well, today I used three cloths for my two bathrooms (because I have issues cleaning anything else with a toilet cloth even if they do say it's anti-bacterial), and warm water.  And my bathrooms smell...like nothing!  No perfume, no urine, just...clean!!  All the surfaces feel smooth and clean (no leftover residue) and cleaning the mirror was awesome!  Not a single streak anywhere!  The cloths are amazing! :)  And no harmful chemicals ingested into my lungs and skin!  I'm sold!

I was so excited when I got done with the bathrooms, I decided to do my kitchen floor...which was terribly dirty!  I attached the environmental cloth (not my toilet one!) onto my swiffer handle and it cleaned amazing!  I had to take a picture of the cloth before and after because I was pretty sure once I rinsed the cloth it would look almost clean again!  And it did!  These cloths must clean themselves too!  My normal rags always look this dirty after doing my floor but when I rinse them out they still look dirty and they're actually stained for life now!

Yup, I'm sold!  Thank you Stephanie for sharing your find with me!  If I was an aggressive personality type, I could totally sell these!!
