Counting Blessings: A Walk to the Hospital

Today's Blessing:  Living Close to the Hospital...just a walk and roll away!!

Scott had knee surgery today.  He can now boast that he has had both of his knees worked on.  Does that mean he's through with knees?!  Nah!  Dr. Sumko kindly told me he'll see us back in five years for a partial knee replacement.  Lucky Scott!
Such lovely hospital attire!
Today went well.  We walked over to the hospital, were there about 4.5 hours and then I wheeled Scott back home in a wheelchair that we borrowed from Grandma Dean.  Aww...the blessings of living close to a hospital!
Scott's mode of transportation today.

Scott has been a very good patient too.  He was told to get up only to go to the bathroom so he has had a R&R day.  He can walk on the leg as long as he has the brace on but he's not to overdue it.  I had a little R&R time with him too.  We watched a movie together and I've been good to keep ice in his "Polar" machine and food in his tummy.

And now Scott owns two colors of those sexy compression socks...black and white!  What a lucky guy! ;)
