Counting Blessings: Totally Dirty!

Today's Blessing:  One Hardworking Man

Scott is the most hardworking, awesome man.  But he's a little crazy too!  Like when it comes to lawns...it drives him insane to see a lumpy, higher than the sidewalk, lawn!  And if it hits close to home he has to do something about it!...like today.  Scott's mom's front lawn recently got torn up thanks to Roy City's sewer line.  I'm not sure on all the details, but  because her neighbor built his garage on top of the sewer line, the city had to dig up both of their yards to re-route the line, and her neighbor had to pay for it!!

So Moma Dean has had a disaster in her front yard for a week or so, and when it came time to put the yards back together, the workers did a beautiful job on the neighbor's yard and a horrible job on Moma Dean's yard!  Scott was fit to be tied!  So today he spent the beginning of his "long weekend off" digging up his mom's yard again and making it level and pretty.  He did have a couple of helpers from her ward show up but Scott worked pretty hard and came home pretty dirty.

I'm so glad he took off his shoes before entering the house!!  And he was such a good guy to clean up his own clothes...at least enough to be able to put them back on for tomorrow.

I sure hope this quick weekend job doesn't turn into a month long job!!
