Counting Blessings: A Couple of Pirates

Today's Blessing:  Time for a Little Pirate Fun! :)

Arr!  Ain't nothin' bettr than this thar couple pirates usherin' at yur  ol' Theatre tonight!

Arr!  It's hard to talk pirate!  And harder to write!

Scott and I had a little dress-up fun tonight and put on our pirate attire as we ushered at opening night of "Treasure Island" at the Heritage Theatre.  Doesn't Scott look simply piratety?!  We must have done a pretty good job covering our real identities because even the two board members helping tonight didn't know who we were!  Even some of the cast members said we looked better than they did!  It was grandfully great!

If case you're interested, Treasure Island runs October 11-November 2 with performances each Friday, Saturday, and Monday nights beginning at 7:30 p.m. and one matinee on October 19 at 2:00 p.m.  The play is full of swashbucklin', yo-ho-ho-in', and some hearty melodies too!
